BEING OLD
After the death of her husband Chad, Mathilde decides to move in with her daughter in Los Angeles. There she lives together with her 40-year-old daughter Leah as well as Sammie, the teenage daughter left behind by Leah’s ex who’s left her his house and his daughter. The strange patchwork family tries to deal with every day life in the Hollywood Hills.
One night at the opera, Mathilde meets Carlo. Although they only met, Carlo goes home with Mathilde to fix her kitchen faucet. Two hours later they are on the kitchen floor having passionate sex. At dawn Carlo leaves a changed Mathilde behind.
